Deirdre Glynn Levin
Ms. Glynn Levin joined Hackett, Beecher & Hart in 2017 as Of Counsel. Her practice focuses on commercial litigation and appellate advocacy. Her background spans many years as a business litigator, including roles as in-house counsel, a sole practitioner and a senior associate at a large Seattle law firm. Deirdre‘s extensive experience encompasses all dispute stages and she enjoys working with clients to develop strategy, interviewing witnesses and early discovery preparation.
Deirdre gained a specialized knowledge of bankruptcy law and procedure as a career law clerk for federal bankruptcy judges in Seattle, Tacoma, and San Francisco. She has had the unique opportunity to clerk simultaneously at the trial and appellate levels for Hon. Philip H. Brandt during his term on the U.S. Bankruptcy Court Western District of Washington and the Ninth Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panel.
Deirdre adopted Seattle as her hometown in 1992 and is a proud dual-citizen of Canada and U.S.

Pro Bono and Professional Recognition
Currently, Deirdre is an executive member of the WSBA Business Law section and has previously chaired the King County Bar Association Business Law Section. In 2007, Deirdre was appointed by the Washington State Supreme Court to serve a six-year term on the Washington State Bar Association (“WSBA”) Hearing Panel. She presided over hearings and issued recommendations to the WSBA Disciplinary Board. In its published opinion, In re Disciplinary Proceeding against Van Camp, 171 Wn. 2d 781 (2011)(en banc) the Washington State Supreme Court adopted almost all of her findings and conclusions.
